This story begins with Luc Besson's 2009 documentary, Home, a depiction of how Earth's problems are all interlinked and human. While watching the film, Holmes Ives was immediately struck by the powerful and lifting vibe of Jocelyn Pook's track "Dionysus", featured in Home. After that experience, he decided to give the track the Holmes Ives Redux treatment. The result still has the evocative, ambient mood as the original, and just as Pook's viola washes over you, then Ives' driving progressive beats kick in. While not overdoing it, Ives cranks this one up for the dancefloor and the track has been in his record box for awhile now. Ives is ready to share his latest Redux with the world and also encourages everybody to watch the documentary "Home", and check out Jocelyn Park's body of amazing work. This track "Dionysus" was also featured in Martin Scorcese's 2002 film "Gangs of New York", another big hit.
